Kathy George

Ms. George represents clients and assists in motion writing in a variety of high-stakes product liability and other personal injury cases, primarily involving child sexual abuse by clergy members.

Prior to working as an attorney for the Law Offices of James S. Rogers, Ms. George was one of the attorneys for the Committee For a Two-Newspaper Town when, as an intervener in the Seattle dailies’ joint operating dispute, it helped prevent closure of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer in 2007.

After graduating with honors from the Seattle University School of Law, Kathy clerked for Chief Justice Gerry L. Alexander at the Washington Supreme Court.  She drafted majority, concurring, and dissenting opinions for the chief justice and bench memos for the 9-member court in civil and criminal cases.  She also assisted the chief justice and court in deciding whether to accept petitions for discretionary review and reviewing attorney discipline.
